Mike Wilcox, M.A.,M.A., Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, is committed to the emotional and spiritual health of his clients. He has a special interest in mental health issues and in relationship challenges.

He is actively involved with NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness), a mental health organization dedicated to education and advocacy for those affected by mental illness and their families.

Mike also brings a wealth of life experience to the counseling process.  He has been a junior high baseball coach, a furniture mover, a janitor, a professor of philosophy and theology, a pastor, and an indoor landscaper.

Mike and his wife are originally from California and moved to Florida in 2007; in the 1990’s they spent eight years living in Southeast Asia. They have been married for 32 years and have three adult sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law.

Mike has a BA in Speech/Communications from Cedarville University, an MA in Theological Studies from Westminster Seminary California, and an MA in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando; he has also done graduate work in World Religions.

When he’s not counseling, Mike enjoys playing guitar, fishing, and reading.
