Brad Rahr

My name is Brad Rahr, M.A., and I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern specializing in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.

I work primarily with young adults and adults suffering from feelings of despair, loss of
motivation or passion, as well as feelings of overwhelm and loss of control.

In working with trauma, I utilize EMDR therapy in order to invite clients into a newfound sense
of freedom and resilience. Through our work together we will be able to walk through your
trauma and find healing on the path to wholeness.

I use a combination of Attachment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy to walk with my clients through their pain and suffering. Development of
Self-Care strategies, Breath-Work, Mindfulness are essential aspects in developing our capacity
to give and receive safety and connection.

With patience and encouragement, I seek to maintain a safe space for people seeking refuge and
healing.

Spending time with my wife Ashley is my greatest joy. Gardening, foraging, hiking – all things
in nature give me a sense of peace and purpose. A cup of coffee along with a good book and long
talks are ideal and I seek them eagerly with my family, friends, and clients at almost all times.
