Jeannette Bevan

Your life has tremendous value. It is my honor to hear your story and walk with you through the battles you are facing. I believe counseling is a relationship where we will learn, be challenged, and grow, but also we will just sit together in the moments of pain and struggle. It is my privilege to give support, encouragement and to help you become empowered by the truth and beauty of who you are.

For the past two years I’ve been in colleges working with young adults with depression, anxiety, crisis, sexual assault, and eating disorders related to college transition and past trauma. My undergraduate background in Elementary Education and graduate certificate in School counseling have provided me experience with children, adolescents and parents. Post graduate work has been with trauma,  addictions, substance use, sexual assault, spirituality, domestic assault, personality disorders, depression and anxiety. I’ve found the most unexpected joy in working with each different client that I feel superbly honored to be a part of another’s life.

I’m originally from Virginia and recently relocated to Central Florida with my husband, daughter, and dog, Daisy! As we are settling in, we are loving the Florida weather because it’s great for family adventures with the pup! There is so much joy that we can find in everyday moments and I’ve been learning to treasure the unexpected!
