Welcome! Beginning therapy can be such a vulnerable challenge. It takes courage to
acknowledge a problem and ask for help; and you’ve already taken the first steps.

As a counselor, it is a privilege to create a safe haven where the wounds of life and our
unhelpful ways of doing life can be addressed honestly and compassionately allowing
for a different way of living.  I am passionate about working with men and women who
experience depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, feeling “stuck”, life
transitions, recent traumatic events or a history of trauma, spiritual questions,
codependency, grief, and career-related concerns. Through both a person-centered
philosophy and practical approach, I am committed to partnering with people on their
journey towards authenticity, freedom and hope.

My therapeutic approach considers experiential therapies like somatic therapies, sand
tray therapy, and art therapy which engage the body and somatic experiences. Working
from an attachment oriented and relational model, I am influenced by Emotion
Focused Individual Therapy. I also include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and
mindfulness when practical help and skills are needed. I am EMDR trained and enjoy
addressing trauma through a multi-modal, holistic approach.

Originally from Colorado, I miss the Rocky Mountains but I’m loving Florida’s beaches.  I
also enjoy reading a good book, hanging with friends, traveling, babying my plants, and
drinking coffee.
