Welcome! I love joining clients on their journey to emotional and spiritual health. I especially enjoy working with women on a wide variety of issues, including relationship challenges, grief and loss, codependency, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and spiritual struggles.
My goal is to create a safe and accepting space for my clients to honestly share their struggles, challenges, pain, and questions.
I have been on staff as Director of Women’s Ministry at one church and Counseling Center Director at another.
I have training in Christian Life Coaching, Spiritual Direction, and Prayer ministry as well as Clinical Pastoral Education for Chaplains. I have facilitated many Bible study groups through the years, as well as counseling groups, marriage groups, and Biblical financial principle groups. I was a CPA for many years. I have been through my extensive counseling process, so I can personally relate to the challenges, rewards, and benefits of therapy. I have a Christian counseling perspective and believe that emotional and spiritual maturity go hand-in-hand.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, leading Bible study groups, and spending time with friends and family.
I have been married 48 years to my wonderful husband. We have four amazing, married adult children and five adorable grandchildren.
I received my MA in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky.
