New Role, Same Passions

Pinnacle Counseling Institute, Inc, is excited to announce the promotion of Jeremy M. Jobson to Vice President of Marketing, Development and Communication after leaving his role as a Pastor for Northland Church for over 12 years.  Jeremy brings to Pinnacle Counseling Institute’s mission a breadth of experience in marketing, development and communications from his career in business, pastoral ministry, leadership and as a therapist.

Business 

• Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply sales and management for over seven years for Fortune 200 companies.  Gained knowledge and expertise in business, sales, marketing and people/resource management
• Excelled in the Management Training Program at Starbucks while attending graduate school
• Owned and operated a successful real estate title closing company

Pastoral and Leadership 

• Campus Pastor of a church plant, growing over 250% from 150 to almost 400 people per week, growing the annual budget from 200k to almost 500k
• Main Campus Pastor with oversight for Care Center family of ministries at a central Florida mega church
• Co-developed and led a Pastoral Counseling and outpatient Counseling Clinic at Northland Church

 Counseling

• Pastoral counseling for premarital couples, crisis intervention, families, grief, spirituality, and life transitions for twelve years 
• Counseling intern at the Oviedo Counseling Clinic during graduate school training
• Counselor at Pinnacle focusing on men, women, couples/relationships, addictions, trauma, grief, anger and personality disorders for the past two years
• Counsels and speaks with his wife Maggie, who is a successful therapist at Pinnacle since 2016.  Together they lead retreats/workshops for communities, enneagram/personality assessments/wiring and marriage retreats
• Specialized training in trauma with EMDR therapy and CART Anger Management

Jeremy is both grateful and hopeful about this new position with Pinnacle, saying, “This really feels like a ‘right time, right place’ moment.  Cathy Gibson has had such an impact in central Florida for 30+ years as a therapist and supervisor, and the last four years focused on building an incredible team of nine therapists and a very strong non-profit Board for Pinnacle Counseling Institute to expand its impact and mission.  Combine that with the media and political recognition on improving mental health services, including quality and accessibility, and the societal impact that will make; it is a very exciting time to be at Pinnacle pulling people and resources together to help ‘end emotional and relational suffering’ with our clients and our growing number of partners.”  

Regarding his various career experiences, Jeremy stated, “I am so thankful that in each phase of my professional life, I have found the thread of helping people discover, develop and maximize their skill sets and wirings for the benefit of themselves, others and the organizational mission; it truly has been the most rewarding part of my career.  Whether it was as a sales rep, manager, church planter, organizational strategic leader, or therapist I find my role the most fulfilling when others are becoming more and more fruitful and impactful!”
