I desire to work with couples who need help communicating, connecting, being intimate, processing emotions together, and need to reconnect. Sue Johnson, The creator of the EFT Model, calls this ‘the dance,’ which means all couples must learn how to do so, but some simply need to learn how to dance again.
My own journey through life has been a sweet and sometimes messy story of loneliness, depression, addiction, chronic illness, and infertility. I’ve wrestled with God, questioned my faith, and found tremendous comfort in learning that he welcomes all of my emotions as I try to understand his will for my life.
Counseling can feel daunting, I’ve been there myself, and I can tell you from experience that it is worth it. After going through a divorce, I started my counseling journey and realized how healing counseling could be early on. Being known is scary. I’d love to help you in your journey towards healing and growth as we learn about your story together!
I enjoy working with teenagers, young adults, and divorced individuals struggling with life changes, grief, parent relationships, ADHD, toxic spirituality, and burnout. My 15 years working in youth ministry have given me a unique perspective on helping anyone in this demographic.
It would be an honor to be part of your journey of healing and wholeness. I ask that you approach yourself with compassion as you venture toward depth within yourself and connect with others.
I have been married to my best friend and the love of my life for almost six years. We have a 2.5-year-old daughter named Nora, who brings us loads of joy and another kiddo on the way. I love producing, writing, and creating music to help other people share their stories through songs.
