The Response to Racial Injustice

Our counselors, staff, and board members have very heavy hearts regarding the death of George Floyd and the racial injustices in our nation.

 Words don’t seem enough in the face of such injustice. Pinnacle stands against the racism that still exists in our country and community. We promise to listen to, understand, and learn from our BIPOC clients, friends, and community members. We are seeking to dismantle our ignorance and our implicit racist biases.

This month we will share thoughts on racial social injustices from our counselors and BIPOC friends as we learn and grow together. We aim to broaden our ability to serve the BIPOC community better, and we will continue to increase our awareness of racism.
