I love being a mental health counselor because it allows me to offer real hope and direction to people who feel stuck. I work primarily with boys, teens, and men across all ages, especially those navigating life within family or couple relationships. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, burned out, scattered, disconnected, unsure about closeness, or caught in patterns shaped by past pain. Whether you are just beginning to explore your concerns, facing ongoing challenges, or ready for a new breakthrough, I am here to help you move toward greater clarity, connection, and purpose. “No man is an island,” as the saying goes.
In therapy, I primarily use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps people retrain their inner dialogue. Together, we will explore how your thoughts and habits shape your emotions and relationships. I aim to help you build the tools you need to manage anxiety, executive functioning challenges, and relational stress. I often work with individuals navigating concerns such as ADHD, OCD, autism, communication struggles, and emotionally reactive behavior patterns, with the goal of helping you and your relationships truly thrive.
Therapy is not just about solving problems. It is also about strengthening how you live from your core values, how you show up in your relationships, and how you can balance both thinking and feeling when making decisions. I integrate approaches that help you make meaning of your story and grow in emotional awareness so that you feel more grounded and whole.
I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and raised in the Chicagoland area. I spent my early adult years living in the city of Chicago before relocating to Florida. Outside of work, I am the husband to my wife, Ashley, and the father of two wonderful children, Adelaide and Felix. I enjoy playing basketball, singing with my church's worship team, spending quality time with family and friends (especially with a board game or Nintendo), and relaxing with a good book or podcast. I also enjoy audiobooks, and one of my favorites is the Harry Potter series.
I received my Master of Arts in Family Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University in 2021. This training allows me to offer support to couples and families while still addressing the needs of each individual. I have been working in the mental health field for six years and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my bio. If anything you have read speaks to you, I would be honored to connect with you.
