What we do
Our mission is to serve the greater Orlando community is expressed through a dual approach: provide access to quality counseling and develop our counselors.
Counseling: Our counselors are distinctive in their ability to build a safe relationship insight into core issues skill in providing healing of past wounds and hurts, helping people overcome barriers to their goals implementation of proven and effective counseling techniques.
We strive to help you feel safe, cared for and understood. We want you to gain the best results from counseling.
Research shows that the number one indicator of a positive outcome for effective counseling is based on a positive relationship with the therapist. A team approach is used in providing you with the most effective counseling.
Your counselor will have the opportunity to present information regarding your situation to the team of professional counselors at Pinnacle. Confidentiality is kept at the forefront, while feedback and insight is provided to your counselor. This allows you to benefit from the expertise of your counselor and other highly skilled therapists.
Counselor Education: we invests in our counselors through continued education, training, supervision, and clinical development. We have a passion to extend our capacity to care for others.
Scholarships: we have the opportunity to offer scholarships to clients who cannot otherwise afford care. The greater Orlando area is in dire need of access to quality mental health care. We work to partner with individuals and organizations in order to provide the necessary funds to cover costs for our clients.
How we do it
Relationships: We believe personal growth can flourish within the context of relational counseling. For this reason, we seek to provide space for our clients to find safety and connection.
We offer in office and virtual Telehealth appointments.
Quality Care & Community Education: The provision of quality care is our highest value, not only in counseling relationships, but also in our Orlando community.
We provide pastoral consultations, seminars about mental health, and speak at marriage conferences.

Services
Stress Disorders
Our counselors are skilled at treating anxiety, panic disorders, phobias, OCD, addictions, and ADD / ADHD. We're able to provide a diagnosis and help determine the origin and source of the stress. You'll be equipped with effective coping skills and experience relief from symptoms.
Relationship Counseling
Generational trauma is healed through diligent work in family and marriage counseling. Here we seek to provide space for families to seek safety in their path towards connection. We work with many aspects of the family, some being: marriage counseling, family counseling, infidelity, abuse, life transitions, premarital counseling, post-partum care, and more.
Abuse / Trauma / EMDR
Trauma is present throughout all of our lives. Individuals may experience a range traumatic experiences, and we use evidence based practices to offer the highest quality trauma care available. We work with complex trauma, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), sexual trauma, psychological trauma, acute stress disorder, and more.
Using techniques such as EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), narrative focused trauma care, somatic therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and informed care, clients can find relief from their experiences of trauma.
Spirituality
We believe in caring for the whole person. Spirituality is often missed in clinical environments. We are proud to be home to seminary trained counselors and faith informed counselors for those seeking healing from spiritual trauma, spiritual abuse, and ministry burn out.
Emotional Disorders
Our counselors are skilled at treating depression, grief, sadness, bipolar disorder, negative thought patterns, and emotional triggers. We help you determine the cause of your emotional turmoil and provide you with healing relief through processing those emotions.
Disordered Eating
We work with clients who have varying degrees of disordered eating patterns. We use the Intuitive Eating model to help clients discover, accept, and trust the wisdom of their bodies. Additionally, through the lens of Intuitive Eating, we help clients cultivate a relationship with food that is both healing and nourishing.
